Day 31. Jeans and Bras.

Today I took the decision to have a very rare bit of 'me' time. This consisted however, of me going to try and find some new jeans and a new bra. The two things I really hate shopping for as 'they' sadly don't seem to make them my size. For modesty reasons, I'm posting a pic of one rail but not the other....

Note how one of the tags says 'Skinny'. That's the jeans not me... but I'm still quite chuffed because this time last year I would have never thought I could fit into a pair of skinny jeans. Well that's not strictly correct; I guess they make skinny in size 20 too. So what I mean is I would never have thought that I could/should go out wearing a skinny pair. Ho hum.

Day 30. Sasha's favourite place.

Hmmm. Not impressed as my phone is not letting me upload a pic! New fangled technology rubbish. Gah.

Back on home computer today so here is one for yesterday 

(although if I'm being honest it was taken last week...!) 

Day 29. A Day Of Two Halves.

OK, so cheating again with more than one pic.... 

Pic 1 is a memory of a lovely happy family time out at the local (ish) indoor play place that we hardly ever go to.

Pic 2 is a memory of a lovely happy different family time as my little bro and husband came over for Sunday tea. We looked at old photos and had a good catch up. Sasha took this photo!

Day 28. Santa Paws. Yes, a bit out of season...

OK, so I'll admit it, I blubbed. But only at the sight of gorgeous number 1 daughter getting so upset (several times) and being utterly distraught at the thought of Santa and/or Paws not making it.

Now I remember why we don't tend to sit and watch feature length films in this house.... can't afford the tissues!!

Day 27. An unexpected trip.

Today I had an unexpected journey on a train. 

Mr.Curtis owes me one. 

The pic is not brilliant and I'm sure it could be photoshopped if I really had the time, but it's not bad considering it's from a high speed train and the windows desperately needed a wash.

Day 26. The moon is beautiful, mamma....

Sasha has always been fascinated by the moon. 

Tonight she told me it looked beautiful, and she was right, it did.

Day 25. Music, Maestro!

Day 24. Learning Power Rules.

Day 23. Money money money.

We're Rich! Beyond our wildest dreams!

Well, we would be if HM Gov hadn't been miscalculating Mr C's tax all year.

Day 22. Bits and Bobs.

And again, I'm struggling to choose just one photo... so I'm having five, just because they tell the story of our day. Apart from swimming, which we also did, but of course you're not allowed to take photos there!

Day 21. The dangers of taking your eye off the ball... of wool!

Why use just one photo when five will tell the whole story?

All this whilst I was trying to figure out why my iphone wasn't syncing.. it only took me 5 minutes!

Day 20. Wacky Hair Day!

Wacky Hair Day at school! Half pink, half silver. Purple was requested but we couldn't find any, and pink doesn't show up as much as it should... but Tamsin was pleased with it!

Day 19. Petal.

I just loved the colour and the sparkle of the raindrops on this petal this wet morning. It was on our front garden; no idea how it had got there, but it cheered me up for the day.

Day 18. Late as I was actually OUT last night!!

This was what made me smile yesterday - in the morning, both girls cuddled themselves up together on the sofa under a blanket. Rubbish quality photo but happy memory anyway!

Day 17. A near disaster.

Day 15. Skating.

As daddy has gone ski-ing, we did the next best thing.

Day 13. Ski-ing and News.

Daddy is off for a 5 day ski-ing holiday tomorrow, lucky him. Tamsin fancied doing it from the sofa. Sasha, meanwhile, decided she wanted to keep up with the news.

Mummy had a nice lunch out in London with an old friend and then came home and drank some wine.

Day 12. Late Christmas.

Not a great quality pic today, but a memory of the occasion. My parents have arrived, bringing with them a couple of extra late Christmas gifts. 

When asked if they were lucky girls, Tamsin replied 'yes, we are very lucky girls, but I don't really like to admit that very often!'. ???!!!!

Day 11. Aaaahhhhh.

Aaaahh. The girls' beloved soft toys, Pooh Bear and Terry The Turtle, waiting patiently for their return. 

Shows another achievement as Sasha has agreed to leave Terry in the car this term, instead of taking her into school. 

My babies are growing up, but they'll always need their soft toys.

Day 10. A warning.

This is what we found at Tamsin's door as we went upstairs to bed last night, and I have to say it tickled me. Not sure whether it was the guard dog or the unhappy face on the girl....

Day 9. Brownies!

A dual meaning title as I've spent a while today trying to see if Tamsin can start Brownies... a very difficult thing around here, sigh. The other Brownies I've done, is made some for the first time..... Ta-da!!

Day 8. Poorly foot and dark park.

The first is poorly big girl after hurting her foot on the trampoline today. The second is not great quality but was taken around 430pm, out in our local park, whilst playing hide-and-seek and running through the maze. Both show how mild the weather is for January!

Day 7. Gym.

Here's my little one off to her first Gymnastics of the year, with her map to make sure we go the right way (Daddy went the 'wrong' way once, silly daddy....). She loves going to Little Gym! Has to be pink leggings and T-shirt every week though, no deviating from that.

Was hoping to catch one of big girl in her ballet outfit too, but that'll maybe have to be next week.....

Day 6. Sensory room.

Ooops nearly forgot today! Here's one I took earlier...

It's the old 'nursery' - now turned into a 'sensory room' for the girls! Ta-da!

Day 5. Decorations down. Then back up.

Day 4. Back To School.

So pleased that the girls were both happy to return to school this morning after the Christmas Holidays... hmmm.... hope that doesn't mean they don't like being at home ;)
